Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)

The Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Sanjeevan Multi-Speciality Hospital, Satara is a center of excellence for the management of critically ill patients.
Designed to provide round-the-clock advanced life support, our MICU combines cutting-edge technology with compassionate care — ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of medical attention and human touch.

The unit features a 10-bedded cubicle system, offering complete privacy, infection control, and comfort for every patient. Each cubicle is equipped with Philips Advanced Multipara Monitors, allowing continuous observation of vital parameters such as ECG, SPO₂, NIBP, temperature, and respiration. These monitors are connected to a modern Central Monitoring System, enabling our critical care team to track and respond to any change in a patient’s condition in real time.

Our MICU is further equipped with advanced Philips ventilators that provide sophisticated respiratory support for patients with severe breathing difficulties. The unit also includes centralized oxygen and suction systems, defibrillators, and external cardiac pacemakers, supported by mobile X-ray, C-Arm, and ECG facilities — ensuring immediate diagnostic and life-saving interventions at the bedside.

Staffed by experienced intensivists, physicians, nurses, and trained paramedical professionals, the MICU maintains 24×7 vigilance and prompt response capabilities. Every team member is committed not just to sustaining life, but to restoring health with care, respect, and empathy.

At Sanjeevan Hospital, our mission is simple — to stand by every heartbeat, every breath, and every life in need.
Because here, critical care goes beyond technology — it’s the science of healing and the art of compassion.
